Odd Cottage is perfectly placed within the pretty village of Oddington with its 11th Century Norman church. Over 300 years old, the cottage provides a warm, luxurious and tranquil base for exploring the Cotswolds. Stow on the Wold, with its interesting shops, antiques and galleries plus many fine inns and bistros is just a 3 minute drive away. Other places to visit include Blenheim Palace, Cotswolds Farm Park or the famous Shakespeare Houses in Stratford. If walking is your pastime there are plenty of different walks to choose from. You could explore parts of the 60 mile North Cotswolds Diamond Way or venture up the North Cotswolds Outliers Hills.
Odd Cottage has a stunning lounge/dining room with exposed beams and a brick fireplace with wood burning stove. There is a TV/DVD/Video and Sky TV for our guests to enjoy. The dining area has a pine dining table and chairs for 4. There are 2 bedrooms, each sleeping two people. There is a BBQ available and we welcome guests with a dog. | | |

Blockley is a lovely village in an area of outstanding natural beauty located close to the Cotswold towns of Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden, Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold. The village has two hotels with restaurants and a public house, all serving excellent food, plus a delicatessen and shop/post office.
Otter’s Abode is a delightful Cotswold stone barn conversion with enormous character and lovely garden views, with its own attractive gardens set within a beautiful communal landscaped area leading to a mill stream and an abundance of wildlife. On the ground floor, the accommodation comprises fully equipped kitchen/dining area with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and French doors leading to patio. The lounge area is beamed to the roof’s apex, with full length windows, TV with Satellite Freeview, DVD/CD player, Video recorder and Radio. Also on the ground floor is a timber-beamed twin bedroom, and bathroom with bath and shower over. On the first floor is the balconied, timber beamed double bedroom, reached by a spiral staircase.
Outside, the attractive gardens are set within immaculate privately owned communal grounds leading to a picnic area by a delightful mill stream. Whatever the time of day, Otter’s Abode benefits from a sunny position, with French doors leading to a patio area for al fresco dining. This picture postcard cottage is situated at the end of Church Lane two minutes walk from the historic 11th Century Church of St. Nicholas which holds candlelit services. The accommodation is spread over 3 floors, downstairs there is a spacious lounge which is light and airy in the summer and cozy and warm in the winter, with feature stone fireplace, wood burner and stone hearth and pretty window looking onto the appealing garden.
Just off the lounge is a kitchen breakfast room with dining table, which seats six and child’s chair. The superb modern fitted kitchen with Elm wood floor has granite work surfaces, oven with 4 ring hob and extractor fan, Washer/Drier, Dishwasher, fridge and freezer compartment and a full range of excellent cooking implements.
From the lounge, stairs rise to the first floor landing and 3 spacious bedrooms, which have crisp cotton bed linen, Laura Ashley fabrics and The White Company accessories which add that extra bit of luxury. The wonderful cottage feel landing has wooden doors with iron latches and one leads to a refreshing decorated double bedroom overlooking the pretty front garden and far reaching views of the Cotswolds countryside.
Another door from the landing leads to a newly appointed family bathroom comprising bath with mix taps and spray attachments, washbasin and W.C and the third door leads to a second delightfully designed bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower room. Childs cot is also provided.
From the landing, stairs go to the second floor and the third bedroom, with two single beds and window to the front with far reaching views.

Located in the quiet, unspoilt village of Oakridge Lynch, between Stroud and Cirencester, in the Five Valleys region of the South Cotswolds, this cottage was once part of a silk mill, set in a pretty walled garden. The immediate area is great for walking, touring, or simply relaxing, with an excellent pub within walking distance. It is also very convenient for touring the Cotswolds and west of England generally, and close to racing, point to point, antiques centres, water sports, golf and riding.
