This beautiful, newly built, 1 bedroom apartment in Monetier-les-Bains, Serre Chevalier, has been built to the highest standard, in traditional wood and stone. Eco-friendly geothermal underfloor heating system from the local thermal springs. Ground-floor location with terrace and small garden with views of the mountains. The apartment has one double bedroom and a lounge/kitchen area which is fully equipped with hob, small oven, large fridge and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine. The lovely shower-room has a vanity unit, hairdryer and shaver socket. The double bedroom has fitted cupboards, large chest of drawers and bedside tables. The lounge area has sofabeds and dining table, there are sliding doors to the terrace. There is a ski locker and boot storage in the lobby. There is also a partly covered swimming pool, heated by the thermal springs, with a private changing cubicle for each apartment, together with sauna and steam room.

Only 200m from the ski lift in winter, it is also an ideal location for a relaxing (or active) summer break. The lifts reopen in mid-late June for walkers, climbers and mountain bikers, or simply enjoy the wild flowers and mountain animals. It is a short walk to the village centre, with shops and restaurants, and a Museum of religious art. Enjoy a stroll along the river to Villeneuve or Le Casset, or hire a bike for a more exhilerating trip. The town of Briancon with its Napoleonic history is only 20 minutes by car.

The mountains really come alive in the summer and Meribel–Les Allues offers a huge range of activities such as: Golf, Tennis, Rock climbing, Horse riding, Walking/hiking (guided if you require) mountain biking ( some of the lifts are equipped to take bikes !) Adventure Park, Olympic leisure centre, fishing, para gliding, river rafting, language courses. For kids, a huge range of activities for all ages including care at a crèche.

Apartment Les Marmottes is situated in the heart of the Trois Vallees in the village of Les Allues near Meribel. Some of the most beautiful walks in the area start at the chalet door, and Meribel and the surrounding area offer a huge variety of outdoor activities, including walking and hiking, mountain biking, parapente, river rafting, rock climbing, abseiling, canyoning, canoeing and kayaking, horseriding and many more. Sailing is available on Lake Annecy a short drive away. The weather is sunny and warm from May to late September with maximum temperatures in July and August around 25c.

Les Marmottes is a privately owned apartment on two floors, in a small, recently built chalet of nine apartments. It has beautiful, uninterrupted mountain views, and is particularly spacious, sleeping 6 adults comfortably. The accommodation comprises open plan living / dining area with comfortable seating, TV, CD, books and games, pine dining table for six, and doors leading out onto the balcony.
