Four comfortable spacious cottages converted from two 18th century stone barns in attractive peaceful setting, sleep 4 & 6.
Hell Barn cottages are situated in a quiet hollow by Winniford stream in North Chideock near Bridport. The garden looks out over rolling farmland and provides an attractive and peaceful setting in which to relax at any time of the day. Less than two miles from the beach and the Jurassic Coast, and only a mile off the main road, this is an ideal spot from which to explore the local area, whatever your age or interests. There are many miles of delightful footpaths to explore, including the fine coastal path with its breathtaking views. Within a few minutes drive is the old rope-making town of Bridport with its harbour of West Bay offering boating and sea fishing.
The four comfortable spacious cottages have been converted from two 18th century stone barns, and are clean, well maintained and well-equipped. Each cottage has a spacious lounge / dining room with a colour TV and kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator and washer/dryer. The bathrooms are fitted with bath and shower, wash basin, with shaving socket and WC. Each cottage has two comfortably furnished bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin, except for Jasmine Cottage which additionally has a set of twin bunks in the twin room (the other three cottages all have sofabeds though to accommodate 2 extra persons if required). The large garden includes two patio areas and children's play equipment, and there is also a Games-room. Finally, if you want to take out some of the 'catering' from your self-catering holiday, we can also provide you with home cooked frozen food and fresh Japanese dishes cooked especially for you at your table!! |
